My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wycker!
This adorable 8-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs about 13 pounds and is full of personality! Wycker is friendly, curious, and always ready to explore. He loves trotting around the yard with his dog friends and greeting everyone he meets with his happy little tail wag.

Sadly, Wycker came to us after his owner suffered a massive stroke and could no longer care for his beloved dogs. Despite this heartbreaking change, Wycker has remained his cheerful, social self.

He’s great with people, does well with other dogs, and we suspect he’d get along just fine with cats too. Wycker is spunky, loving, and has plenty of joy and energy left for many happy years ahead.

If you’re looking for a loyal little companion to brighten your days, Wycker would love to meet you!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
