Fava came to us along with her littermates, and she is ready to find her furever home. Fava and her littermates seem to be undersocialized and are pretty fearful in the shelter. Unfortunately Fava is the most nervous here, and is going to need a patient family that will be understanding and give her time to open up at home. As with any puppy, Fava is going to require training and socialization to set her up for a lifetime of success. Fava is very young and still growing, we are not sure how big she will get however we expect her to be large and 50-60lbs or more as an adult. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Fava home. OUR MISSION: It is the mission of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center & Shelter to provide an environment of continuous improvement; emphasizing excellent service and safety for the community; providing the dogs and people of Fairfield County protection, care, and compassion with innovative, yet sustainable means; all while maintaining a standard of the utmost integrity.
