Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Oscar! Oscar is a Tri-pod, pit mix puppy who has a lot to say. This one loves to get out and about to play with the other dogs, larger and smaller. He mostly likes playing with the larger puppies.....
Oscar was a medical pull from the Greenville Shelter. After taking him to a vet for x-rays, he was found to have a broken bone at the growth plate on his femur. Two vets recommended removing the leg as he would do much better overall throughout life. And they were NOT wrong. This little toot runs so much faster than me, I can't even catch him sometimes. He goes outside to play and tackles the other dogs, so he won't have a problem with other dogs of any size, but will do better with a med to large size dog.
Oscar will require a neuter agreement be signed upon placement, with vet references provided.
Oscar is NOT to be kept outside all the time, he does like to go out and enjoy the sunshine and outdoors, but he is considered an "indoor" pup. Must have a wood privacy fence in good condition, and vet references of some sort. Please reach out if Oscar might be your kind of pup.

Home checks are not always done, I review the vet references and google the satellite pic of the home, and the area it is in.
Additional adoption info
I do not have an online adoption link, I interview by phone initially, if they pass the criteria, I will either visit the home or have someone close by do this (if necessary).

More about this rescue
I have been in rescue for approximately 12 years or more. I did obtain my 501c3 in early 2018, but had been in rescue many years prior to that date. I have a great affinity for animals, dogs, cats and others. I take as many as I can from the shelter located in Greenville, TX. I do this because I love the animals, I am retired and someone needs to take care of as many as possible. I also delight in being able to adopt a dog/pup into a loving home.
