Meet Mack!
This large, gorgeous boy is the biggest cuddle bug with his trusted people! He loves giving big hugs and likes to sit on his person's lap. He doesn't seem to realize he ever grew out of his puppy size and thinks he's the size of a chihuahua. Mack is a bigger boy but with his intelligence and manners, he knows to stay within the bounds of his fences. He does well in as short as 4 foot fencing and doesn't need a huge yard to keep him happy, as long as he can go on daily walks or the occasional swim as he loves water!
With his tough looking exterior yet soft and timid personality, Mack has been overlooked for most of his life. Mack was adopted as a puppy and returned to us as a teenager with very little socialization. He was terrified of new people as well as other dogs and although none of that was his fault, his prior adopters didn't want to deal with the behaviors they created. Mack has been at the shelter since and has become incredibly dog social, getting along with almost every type of dog. He would benefit from a home with another dog or two to show him that the world isn't as scary as he thinks it is.
Mack has an overall mellow demeanor but is still active enough to keep up with most lifestyles. He has amazing leash manners, knows how to 'Sit', and takes treats gently. With his intelligence and eager to learn attitude, Mack could likely learn any trick you throw his way! Though he is well loved here at the shelter amongst staff for his goofy, puppy-like personality, it is high time that Mack finds the comfort of a loving home. Could you be the perfect person for this handsome man?

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
