Cheeto and his sister Pringles are currently in a foster home near Ashland Oregon!
They are both shy puppies compared to their litter mates but have responded well to being in a home with other dogs, people, and even a cat. Cheeto is an amiable boy who tends to defer to his sister even though he's much bigger than she is. He is still a fluffy bunch of puppy fur and seems to be a gentle boy. He knows the Sit command and Down is coming along with the help of a Cheerio or two. Cheeto's foster Mom says these puppies are "easy keepers."
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events.
When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.
Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination.
All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip .
We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
