My Friends at Wayside say: - I am housebroken and crate trained in my foster home. - I already know some basic commands. - My favorite thing is to be next to my people and play with my toys!
My home needs are: - Cats are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat free. - I must meet other dogs under 30 pounds in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies.
Hi there, I’m Aries! I’m a snuggly, chill, laidback, quiet friend who just wants to be by your side. It really is as simple as that for me. A couch to curl up on, my favorite person to give me a belly rub, a few toys to play with…these are the things that make me happy. I hope maybe you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys a peaceful, easy life, because that’s me! And I’m ready to be your dog.
I’m a handsome, 6 1/2-year-old, 92-pound bundle of love and sweetness, with gentle eyes, a bright smile, a unique spot of fur on my side that is the shape of a heart, and a happy, friendly, lovely personality. I’m already housebroken and crate trained too, although I might whine a bit as I settle in my crate. It’s just that I’d rather be with you all the time instead of alone in a crate. I could stand to lose a few pounds, so I hope you’ll help me out with that by providing me with nutritious food and light exercise. Getting to a healthy weight will help me feel better and will keep arthritis at bay as I get older. I had an old injury to my left hind leg that has healed on its own, but I still favor it at times. It doesn’t slow me down or keep me from jumping up on the couch though, so life is good!
I originally came to Wayside as a wee pup with my whole precious life ahead of me, and I was quickly adopted by a nice family. I’ve had a good life, but sadly, they are no longer able to take care of me. Coming to Wayside felt stressful and lonely, as I sat in my kennel and worried about my future. That’s when Foster Mom came into my life. She has made such a difference for me, taking me home and helping me to relax and enjoy life once again. Ah, it feels so nice to be back in a home, even if this is just a temporary stop on my journey. Hoping that my next stop will be with you!
I quickly made myself at home in foster and became a true member of the family. I love to follow
