Meet Yoshi – A Big Heart, a Gentle Soul, and a Love for the Good Life Hi there! My name is Yoshi, and I'm a 5-year-old male German Shepherd who's ready to start my next chapter after my previous owner could no longer care for me. I may be a big, handsome guy, but at heart I'm a total sweetheart who was raised around kids, farm life, and even made friends with an outdoor cat or two. I enjoy the simple joys in life—being around my people, exploring my surroundings, and soaking up affection. When it comes to other dogs, I'm a bit selective. I do not do well with male dogs, and while it's possible I could get along with a female, that would need to be determined through a proper meet and greet. The goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable and set up for success. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my core vaccinations, including rabies. I did test heartworm positive, but the good news is that my treatment will be provided at little to no cost to my adopter thanks to the amazing support of Rockwall PAWS. RAC staff are always happy to answer questions and explain the treatment process. My adoption fee is $125, and it includes all of my medical care and the promise of a loyal, loving companion who just wants a safe, stable home and people to call his own. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
