Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Willow is the self-proclaimed Queen of Tennis Balls, and if fetch were a sport, she’d hold the world championship title! This sweet, lovable girl would thrive with an active family who’s ready to keep up with her playful spirit and love for adventure. Whether it’s a long walk, a road trip, or a backyard game of fetch, Willow is always eager to be your loyal sidekick.
She’s not just about energy though, Willow is also a total cuddle bug who enjoys quiet moments and is wonderfully gentle with both kiddos and adults when it’s time to lend a listening ear. She prefers to rule her kingdom as the one and only tennis ball queen, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. With the perfect mix of fun, softness, and just a hint of sass, Willow would make an amazing addition to any home that’s happy to keep a tennis ball (or two!) close at hand.

More about this shelter
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
