My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Armita! Armita is a gorgeous tuxedo girl with a sweet, gentle spirit who is looking for her human companion. She loves being with you and will follow with quiet chrips to let you know she's there. Armita loves head scratches and hugs, window naps on her cardboard scratch pad, and exploring boxes & bags. Armita loves companionship and was found outside of a corner store where she greeted every customer in the hopes that one would take her home. Fortunately for her, one of our volunteers was stopping by and scooped her up. Now that she is safely inside, Armita is full of love and life!

One important note: Armita is on a special diet to help manage kidney stones; when she was brought indoors, she was struggling to use litterbox, but once they were cleared by the vet, she hasn't had an issue. Nevertheless, potential adopters should be able to provide her special diet, which can be detailed by Project MEOW and she seems to enjoy eating. With her elegant coat and affectionate personality, she’s ready to find her forever home where she can shine.

Armita Holly is around 10 years old and is spayed, FeLV negaetive and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Project MEOW Adoption Fees – Effective March 15, 2023

Cats/kittens under 1 years old: $125 + 8% sales tax = $135
Cats ages 1-9 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Senior cats ages 10+ years old: $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
