My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vivian is your new friendly and cuddly fur companion! We think that this older gal was abandoned by her previous owners, but it's a mystery why, because Viv is a gentle and affectionate kitty who loves to be close to her people. She loves getting pets and is especially fond of head scratches. Vivian (who has also acquired the nicknames Viv and Vivvy) rarely makes a peep--except for some endearing chirps when she sees her meals being prepared--and would do well in a quiet and calm home, as she's a bit skittish of loud noises and sudden movements.

Though she's technically a senior cat, she still has a lot of spunk and energy and likes to play with her fishpole toy 1-2 times per day. When she's not chasing toys or following her human from room to room, she enjoys watching birds through the window and on cat TV, and also delights in food of the chicken and tuna varieties.

Vivian Viola is around 11 years old and is spayed, FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She tested positive for FeLV once but we will run more diagnostics to confirm. She is affectionate, cuddly, curious, friendly, gentle, loyal, and quiet.

Project MEOW Adoption Fees – Effective March 15, 2023

Cats/kittens under 1 years old: $125 + 8% sales tax = $135
Cats ages 1-9 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Senior cats ages 10+ years old: $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
