Meet Sally! Or, as her people like to call her, "Miss Sally" / "Sweet Sally" / "Silly Sally."
Sally was rescued from rough beginnings in New Mexico, where she suffered an injury to her left leg leaving her with a slight limp. But she appears to be pain-free and living her best life! Nothing will stop her from jumping into your lap, or onto the couch, or getting the zoomies. While she can be timid at first, Sally has true "lap dog" energy and will be your most loyal companion once she warms up.
Sally is looking for a patient forever family to give her positive reinforcement and help her build confidence in this big world. She's very comfortable relaxing at home and is still learning that a "walk" is an adventure, not a sign she's lost! She's doing excellent with her crate/potty training and enjoys working on her tricks because it means MORE TREATS! Sally loves food, snuggles, wagging with her whole body, and giving kisses. But she loves you most of all. She'll remind you every day how grateful she is to be in your life, and you'll be equally as grateful that you rescued her!
