Meet Shera and Keeva — a Loving Mother & Son Bonded Pair
Shera and Keeva are an adorable bonded duo looking for their next loving home. These two share a close mother-and-son bond that’s truly heartwarming to watch — they groom each other, snuggle up during nap time, and explore together side by side.
Shera is a 6–7-year-old Netherland Dwarf (Black and White) with a gentle, but skittish personality. She’s a little reserved at first, but once she feels comfortable, she enjoys quiet company and soft pets.
Keeva, her 4-year-old Netherland Dwarf mix son (Gray and White), is curious, affectionate, and always eager to check out new spaces. He often takes the lead on adventures, with Shera following close behind.
Both rabbits are spayed/neutered, litter-trained, and have been well cared for indoors and outdoors during (nice weather) their whole lives. They enjoy munching on hay, fresh greens, and the occasional healthy treat.
Their current owner loves them deeply but recently developed a severe allergy to Timothy hay and wants to make sure Shera and Keeva have a home where they can continue to thrive — with more room to hop, explore, and receive plenty of attention.
Shera and Keeva would do best in a calm indoor home with space to roam safely and a family who understands that rabbits are gentle, social companions. They come with some of their supplies to help them settle in.
If you’re looking for a sweet, bonded pair that will fill your home with love (and adorable bunny antics), Shera and Keeva are waiting to meet you!

More about this rescue
Bunny Lu Adoptions, Inc. is a volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) domestic rabbit rescue and education organization located in Waynesboro, Virginia. We are dedicated to educating people about the joys of having a house rabbit(s) companion and promoting care that will give those companions the best chance at a happy, healthy, long life.
Bunny Lu also provides temporary foster care to abandoned and neglected rabbits and arranges adoptions into loving, indoor, forever homes. While we do not condone the surrendering of rabbits, we understand that providing assistance to those people trying to improve their rabbits' quality of life sometimes requires finding a new home for the rabbits.
