History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own!
A Note from the Foster: Hi! My name is Nova! I'm a sweet puppy who is looking for my forever home! Let me tell you about myself to see if you think I'm a good fit for your family! 🐾
First things first, I'm a sensitive girl. My foster mom says that I'm dramatic. But here's the thing, I just like to be where she is and I don't see the problem with that. I just have a really big heart and prefer to spend my time with others. I love spending my day playing with my litter mates and chewing on toys. I have some foster siblings who like to play with me as well. It's been good for me to learn how to respect them because I know they are older than me.
Now onto eating. Man, do I love dinner time, breakfast time, and lunch time! You name it, I'll eat it. My foster mom allows me a snack during the day too which I appreciate because being a puppy is tough stuff. I don't have any belly issues and always finish my bowl.
At night, I sleep in a pen with my litter mates. I get a little sad that my foster mom, dad, and siblings go to bed in the other room. I have a LOT to say about going to bed and I wish they wouldn't leave me in the pen. But after a little bit, I realize how tired I actually am and I go right to bed. I wake up just in time for my foster mom to start her day! Boy am I excited to see her when she comes to get me.
Now to the hard stuff. Since I live in a house and not outside in the cold anymore, my foster mom says I need to learn to "potty outside". Overall, I've been doing a great job, she says! So far, no poopy accidents inside however, I do sometimes forget about the rule and pee a little. I'm working really hard at remembering what I'm supposed to do. The good news is, I'm eager to please and want to make her happy so I will do all I can to follow the rules.
My foster mom says that I have to go to the "vet" to make sure that I am healthy. I mean, I feel healthy but she said it's necessary since I've never been. I'm sure I'll be just fine since I have been a healthy girl so far but I guess it's always good to double check.
Overall, I'm your basic, sweet puppy who is looking to have the best life! I promise you snuggles, kisses, and I'll be your best friend. If you want to meet me, just let Coco's Heart now. My foster mom says you can come over and get to see how adorable I am in person and smell my "puppy breath" that she gushes about.
With love,
Nova
