My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sunny!
Sunny is a beautiful 2-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix weighing about 13 lbs, and she is possibly the sweet mama of the whole group. Her stunning tri-colored coat — a blend of blue, tan, and white — makes her truly stand out.

Sunny came from a severe hoarding situation and is the shyest of the bunch. She watches the world carefully from behind soft, unsure eyes, wanting to trust but not quite knowing how yet. She will need someone with abundant patience, kindness, and a gentle heart to help her learn that she is safe and loved.

While she is timid, Sunny finds comfort in the presence of other dogs and settles best when she has calm, friendly companions around. She is still learning how to be a dog — how to explore, how to relax, and how to accept affection. With the right person, she has so much potential to blossom.

Sunny will need a quiet home and a family who understands that progress may be slow, but incredibly rewarding. Every small step she takes will be a milestone.

Sunny is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on preventative care.

If you have a soft spot for the most delicate souls and want to offer a second chance to a truly deserving dog, Sunny may be the perfect match.
