Ayana is a sweet 1-year old mixed breed looking for a new start. She’s playful with other dogs and loves to solve puzzle toys. We don’t have much history of Ayana so we’re unsure of how she would do in a home setting with other dogs, cats or children. She’s a bit shy getting to know new people, with reassurance she warms up fast and shows off her goofy personality. She walks well on leash and is food motivated.
If you would love to meet Ayana, please click the grey "Apply for Adoption" button and fill out the adoption profile. We will review your profile and get in touch to schedule a time for you to come in.

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
