Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maple is roughly 1.5 yrs old, Chesapeake bay retriever mix - the retriever in her shines bright! She is potty trained, and knows basic commands. Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, but you can tell how hard she is trying & how smart she is. She plays great with other dogs & would thrive with a mature sibling! She is also great with kids, but doesn't know her size, esp when excited, so elementary age & older would be best.
We have found that having a cat (or other small animal) in the home is not best for either animal. Our cat is almost 10, and while he acts young and grew up with a dog, her desire to "retrieve" is too strong for his liking.
Maple is around 55 lb and up to date on her vaccinations.
She is truly a great dog, we just dont feel that we can provide her with the energy & attention she deserves to thrive.
