My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet Potatoes: the tiniest, sweetest little Tater around!

Sweet Potatoes may be small, but her heart (and ears!) are absolutely enormous. This shy, reserved little girl is still warming up to the world, but it’s clear she wants to trust and be loved. With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, she will form the sweetest, strongest bond with her forever person.

She’s naturally cautious, but her curiosity is growing every day. Sweet Potatoes loves quietly exploring her environment on her own terms, taking in new sights and smells at her own pace. She mostly ignores other animals, making her a great match for a calm, confident pet companion who won’t overwhelm her.

Her crate is her safe space, and she settles in easily and finds comfort there. While she says it’s too cold outside for proper house training just yet, she’s doing very well with pee pads. As she continues building confidence, those outdoor skills will come with time and gentle encouragement.

Sweet Potatoes is the definition of a tiny couch potato: calm, cuddly, and happiest when snuggled up for a long nap. She prefers snoozing over playing, and food definitely ranks higher than toys on her list of favorites. And while she may be shy at first, she truly loves her humans once she feels safe — those warm, heart-melting cuddles are absolutely on the way.

If you're looking for a gentle, sweet, and soulful little companion who just needs someone to unlock her confidence and show her how loved she is, Sweet Potatoes is ready to wiggle her way into your heart.

Quick stats!
--Dogs: interactions have gone mostly well, just prefers to ignore them
--Cats: has gotten along well with cats in the home
--Children: has not been introduced to children in the home
--Likes: cozy naps, gentle cuddles, her crate, and quiet exploration
