Romeo is a 4-year-old Maltese with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He may be a little rough around the edges at first — this handsome boy takes his time deciding who to trust — but once you’re in, you’re in for life. When Romeo lets his guard down, he becomes the sweetest, most loyal little lap dog who just wants to be close to his person.
His favorite part of the day? His daily walk! Romeo loves getting outside to stretch his legs, sniff the world, and show off his adorable trot.
He’s looking for a patient and loving home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and shine. Once he does, Romeo will be your devoted sidekick — a tiny dog with a huge heart who will always be right by your side. Romeo will do best in a home with no children and being the only dog. Romeo is crate trained.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community.
