🤍 Meet Heather — Our Blue-Eyed Beauty 🤍 Heather is a stunning young girl with soft medium-length white fur, crystal blue eyes, and a gentle, quiet charm. She also happens to be deaf, which makes the world a little calmer for her but doesn’t diminish her sweet personality one bit.
We don’t know her full history, but we do know she had recently been living outdoors — far too dangerous for any cat, and especially for a deaf, white one. Despite her uncertain past, Heather is friendly with people and enjoys attention, though she currently prefers no other animals in her space.
Heather would thrive in a calm home with older children who can understand her boundaries and unique communication style. For her safety, she must be an indoor-only kitty.
She will be spayed soon, but can also be adopted through our foster-to-adopt program if the perfect family comes along.

Approve Application
We review and approve applications prior to setting up meetings, as our dogs and some of our cats are in foster homes.

Meet the Pet
After approval, we will set up a meeting to decide if this is the right pet for you. Usually adoptions can be finalized that day!

We require a completed application and references. Our fees cover the vetting we have in our pets for adoption. We are looking for loving family homes who are wanting to adopt a new indoor family member.

You can visit our adoptable cats at our used book store/ cat adoption center, Cat Tales, located at 601 N Charles St. Portland, IN.
Our adoptable dogs are all in foster homes, so we schedule appointments to meet them once applications are approved.
