Hi there! My name is Hazel and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 9 year old, female, Terrier, American Pit Bull/Retriever, Labrador who came to SB Humane searching for a loving family to call my own.
I am in my golden years and I am hoping to spend them lounging on your couch and soaking in the sun rays. I still do get the occasional burst of energy and will zoom around the yard.
I have been around kids of various ages, and I have even coexisted well with cats. I would love a family that is willing to give me head scritches till I fall asleep, and give me treats for just being cute.
Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.
Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.
