Meet Bark Wahlberg!!
He came in as a stray on 11/8/25, and we think he’s about 2 years old. This handsome guy is friendly and playful, but he’s also trying so hard to be brave in a world that hasn’t always been gentle with him.
Bark Wahlberg wants to trust—he really does—but you can see him double-checking to make sure you’re safe before he lets his guard down. Once he decides you’re one of the good ones, he starts to relax, and you get glimpses of the sweet, goofy boy underneath the worry.
He’ll need a patient adopter who can help him unwind, build his confidence, and learn that life is full of good things: treats, toys, soft beds, belly rubs, and people who won’t ever let him down. With the right person, this boy is going to shine.
He is available for adoption now, so hurry in to meet this gentle soul!
Bark Wahlberg is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH
Phone: 419-774-5892
It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov
