Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Summer has a big personality. He’s outgoing, confident, friendly, and playful—pretty much the life of the party and always wants to be in the mix. He loves his sister, Winter, as well as his big “brother,” Paolo, who is his foster’s resident cat. Summer enjoys sitting in your lap, where he’ll purr contentedly and fall asleep, and when you get out the wand toy, let playtime begin.
Now six months old, Summer was the last of his siblings to be rescued from a construction site, thanks to the caring foreman. Although he was last to be brought inside, he was the first to decide that he loved people and the indoor VIP life, quickly wanting pets and excited to play. He is an expert biscuit-maker, often making them standing up to show how excited and content he is.
Summer must be adopted with his sister, Winter, who he is bonded with. They are a great pair because he’s easy going and confident while she is more cautious, for now. He’s great at showing her the ropes and how she can enjoy everything he likes – pets, lap and couch sitting, snoozing, and playing. Summer is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He and her sister are so ready to find their forever home and provide you with years of joy!

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue
We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
