Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOR ADOPTION: ASH (short haired male) and COCO (fluffy female) are large breed mix littermates on the lookout for their very own forever families. Please don’t ask us their breed, your guess is as good as ours what truly matters is their individual personalities and traits. These sweet babies were brought to a local vet clinic on deaths door, sick with parvo. They quickly racked up thousands of dollars in vet bills that their previous owners were not prepared to cover and so they made the decision to surrender them to us. Ash and Coco are fighters and pulled through their illness in about a weeks time. They then moved to the shelter where they had to live in our specialized parvo isolation pen with limited people tending them to ensure they did not spread the virus around. They are now officially past their contagious period, no longer shedding virus and beyond ready to find themselves some amazing families. Ash and Coco are 4 months old and on track to be around 65lbs mature. These are high energy pups that are going to thrive in an active, outdoorsy lifestyle. If you’re an avid hiker, biker, skier etc Ash and Coco would love to join you on all your adventures once their bodies are mature enough to handle the impact. They are also smart and eager to learn. They would love to dabble in dog sports. When they are not burning off energy and building brain cells Ash and Coco are super sweet babies that love to be loved on. They are mostly clean in their kennel and have been non destructive even while going through their isolation in our parvo ward. Ash and Coco are quickly working on general manners such as not jumping up and sitting and making eye contact before eating. They are learning about collars and leash skills and just generally refining themselves to be their best version when it comes time to head home. They are up to date on vaccinations and parasite control and will come with spay and neuter contracts in place. If you’ve been looking for a new buddy to keep up with your active lifestyle apply today at www.nwas.ca for a chance to meet ASH and COCO #NWASAsh #NWASCoco
