Introducing this big lover boy, Meatball! Meatball is a 2 (almost 3) year old mixed breed and is looking for his forever family to share all of his love with! Meatball loves to share his affection and appreciation any chance he gets with those close to him (he thinks he’s a lapdog, not realizing his size). Meatball would love a family who would enjoy taking him on lots of walks where he can check out all of the good smells! He would enjoy showing off his hard work he’s learned with walking but would definitely benefit from a family to continue teaching him the ways. With a proper introduction, Meatball would enjoy playing with other dogs (preferably female) but would most benefit being in a one dog household where he can get spoiled. With his high energy and small dog mind, Meatball would also benefit in a house with older kids that can keep up with him and handle his ball of energy. Meatball loves to play fetch and share his toys with you when playing and will show off his tricks when asked (sit, shake, stay, come and place). Meatball would love his forever family to keep up with his training so he can continue to learn! Meatball can get sad when his family leaves the house, but with a proper kennel, Meatball learns that he is safe and will give you the best greeting when returning home to show just how much he missed you! This big ball of love is ready to share his affection and receive/give endless snuggles.
Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.

Additional adoption info

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
