Hey there! Rocky here with Santa and I just told him that what I really want for Christmas is a furever home. My story: One day I was in this nice home, and then my owner couldn't take care of me any longer and I was surrendered to a local shelter. Lucky for me, Hatton Animal Rescue swooped in and rescued me. I am a good little boy, but I am a bit intimidated by other dogs, especially big ones. I will bark at the little ones too, but generally will calm down around the little ones. I think that I would prefer to be your one and only, as I love human attention once I get to know you. (I will bark at you too, until I feel comfortable around you.) Possibly, I'd settle in with another dog, but I definitely like the small ones better. I am crate trained, house trained (I use the outdoors, but also know how to use pee pads indoors if necessary) and hardly bark except when I hear a sound outside or see another dog I need to talk to! I am absolutely adorable with one blue eye and one brown. If you are looking for a cute companion, complete an application today!
Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

Their adoption process
1.
Submit Application
We do a vet check once the application is received. We need to ensure appropriate vetting was done for current/prior pets.
2.
Interview
Video interview such as Zoom/Google Meet required.
3.
Home Check
We require pictures of yard, fence, common living space to ensure no issues that need to be addressed.
4.
Approve Application
5.
Meet the Pet
At the time of the meeting, the people adopt and pay the fee or walk away and we start over with the adoption process on a new applicant.
Additional adoption info
Vet check is required. We google home records to ensure applicant is not lying about owning a home when it's actually a rental that doesn't allow pets.

The Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation was founded by Gary and Annette Hatton who saw a great gap in our society when it comes to the care and support of special needs animals and seniors. These animals are the ones most left behind and typically deemed un-salvageable or un-adoptable due to their medical conditions and age.
We foster many different types of animals with special needs and/or disabilities in the hopes that they will one day be adopted into a loving home. If one cannot be found, we provide the comfort, care and forever home they need.
Due to the nature of farm animals being more challenging to adopt out, these special guys typically become our permanent residents!
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping animals in our community. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
