Looking for some serious senior spunk?? Meet Sweet Bella! Or, Elf on a Shelf! Look at those stunningly adorable ears. All she wants for Christmas is a forever home! She's people and dog friendly, and ready to be your forever friend! Though she's a senior, she has moxie and joie de vivre! Bella's foster says she LOVES her crate and to snuggle up in her blanket at night (see video). She also seems to know her name and to go outside to potty. While she's a darling gal, she still is a bit timid and will take time to warm up to new people. Eventually, she may become your best lap buddy, but it will take some time to get comfortable with you.
Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

Their adoption process
1.
Submit Application
We do a vet check once the application is received. We need to ensure appropriate vetting was done for current/prior pets.
2.
Interview
Video interview such as Zoom/Google Meet required.
3.
Home Check
We require pictures of yard, fence, common living space to ensure no issues that need to be addressed.
4.
Approve Application
5.
Meet the Pet
At the time of the meeting, the people adopt and pay the fee or walk away and we start over with the adoption process on a new applicant.
Additional adoption info
Vet check is required. We google home records to ensure applicant is not lying about owning a home when it's actually a rental that doesn't allow pets.

The Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation was founded by Gary and Annette Hatton who saw a great gap in our society when it comes to the care and support of special needs animals and seniors. These animals are the ones most left behind and typically deemed un-salvageable or un-adoptable due to their medical conditions and age.
We foster many different types of animals with special needs and/or disabilities in the hopes that they will one day be adopted into a loving home. If one cannot be found, we provide the comfort, care and forever home they need.
Due to the nature of farm animals being more challenging to adopt out, these special guys typically become our permanent residents!
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping animals in our community. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
