If Dasher is the nap-loving chill brother, Dancer is the sibling who woke up, stretched, and declared, “Let’s make today AWESOME!” Born 12/15/24 and weighing about 55–60 lbs of happy-go-lucky enthusiasm, this handsome blond boy is pure sunshine with four legs and a tail that never stops swishing.
Dancer is joyful, social, and always ready for fun. Toys? Yes, please! Dog buddies? Absolutely! A good romp followed by a cozy snuggle session? His specialty. He’s the kind of pup who greets every new day — and every new person — with a sparkle in his eye and a wag that could power a small windmill.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

The purpose and objective of our organization is to perform the following educational and charitable activities, as well as providing both shelter services to equines, and rehabilitation to abused, neglected or abandoned horses:
(1) promote and educate the public on horse slaughter and equine abuse
(2) Rescue, retrain and rehome slaughter bound, abused, or neglected horses
(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
