Gizmo – Bonded Pair with Bucky
Breed: Chihuahua
Age: 11–12 years
Location: Middlesex, NC
Must Be Adopted With: Bucky (14-year-old deaf Cocker Spaniel)
Good With: Cats, dogs
Adoption Fee: $300 (for the bonded pair)
Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is a loving 11–12-year-old Chihuahua who is part of an inseparable bonded pair with his best friend Bucky, a gentle 14-year-old, deaf Cocker Spaniel who is up to date on shots and altered.
These two seniors came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue under heartbreaking circumstances. Their 90-year-old mom passed away, and not one of her five adult children stepped up to take them. The family even discussed taking them to a shelter to be euthanized. Thankfully, we stepped in before that could happen.
Gizmo and Bucky are incredibly easygoing, low-maintenance dogs who get along well with both cats and other dogs. They are quiet, sweet, and simply want a calm, loving home where they can stay together—they must not be separated.
We are seeking a local foster or adopter in or near Middlesex, NC, to give this pair the safe, stable home they deserve.
