Liz is a 2 year old female guinea pig who was surrendered due to her owner moving into housing that did not allow guinea pigs.
Liz is a very sweet people oriented guinea pig, but after multiple failed bonding attempts we believe she is one of those rare piggies who does best solo. She would do best with an owner that has time to spend with her every day, she is a fantastic lap pig and great with humans.
From her foster: "Liz is doing amazing! She’s very curious and absolutely loves to explore. Floor time is her favorite she jumps right out of her hay basket and runs over to me every time I come in at the end of the day. She also enjoys climbing, so I think she’d do great in a home with a cage that has a second level. She is sweet but independent. She’ll come over to sniff, lick, or climb on me, but she prefers to be petted or picked up on her own terms ? (we’re working on that!)."
