History: We welcomed a group recently from a partnering organization of ours, Villalobos Animal Rescue. These kiddos are SO sweet, social, friendly, and already have a great start at basic obedience and mannerisms.
A Note from the Foster: ✨ Hi, I’m Rojo! ✨
I may have the biggest grin you’ve ever seen, and I love showing it off! 🐾 At first, I liked having my own quiet space, but I’ve learned that it’s not so bad when other dogs walk by my kennel. I still appreciate having my own cozy corner to relax in, but once I’m out with friends, I’m ready for fun!
My favorite playmates are puppies (they’re just so silly!), but honestly, I enjoy hanging out with just about anyone. After playtime, I’m equally happy curling up for some downtime with you. I love butt scratches, snuggles, and just being close to my people.
I’m a flexible girl—whether your family is active and on the go or you love lazy days on the couch, I’ll happily keep up with your pace. When it’s time to play, you’ll usually find me with a soft stuffed toy in my mouth—my absolute favorite! And when I’m tired, I don’t mind stepping aside and finding a comfy spot to relax while the other dogs keep playing.
Meeting new dogs? I just need a few quick sniffs first to feel comfortable, but I warm up fast and am ready to trust. I really am the total package: playful, loving, and always smiling.
