Hi, I`m Keedo!
I`m a puppy full of love and joy. Here in the shelter, I`ve made lots of friends, both furry and human! I came into the shelter with an unusual skin issue. Nothing contagious but definitely not pretty. The clinic has gotten my issue under control and I am now ready for my forever home! I`m known for my gentle and mellow nature, but I also have a playful side. I am good on leash, love to hang out with my favorite humans and canine friends. I`m brave, facing new challenges with a wagging tail, and I`m always ready for cuddles after playtime. If you`re looking for a loyal companion to share in all of life`s adventures, I`m your pup! I have mastered the leash, I am perfect at sit, especially when treats are involved. I would make a wonderful family pet.

All shelter locations are conducting animal viewing and adoptions on a first come, first serve basis. We are not able to move a pet from one location to another for your viewing.
The adoption fee is waived for all available pets in care and in foster homes. Standard adoption practices will still be in place, including background checks.

The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department (AWD) expanded the shelter days of service to seven days a week with operational hours of 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and pet viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m for both the east and west side shelter locations.
