Meet Pugsley!
This sweet Heeler mix is affectionate, gentle, great with other dogs, and absolutely adores kids. He’s treat motivated, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up beside you any chance he gets. Pugsley enjoys toys, playful moments, and is discovering more confidence and curiosity each day as he settles into a safe routine.
His early life was a bit of a haunted house — living on a crowded property with many dogs and battling parvo — but those spooky chapters are behind him now. Pugsley has come so far, proving himself to be a brave little guy who’s learning the world is full of warmth, comfort, and people who care. He may be nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into the sweetest companion with a heart that’s eager to trust.
As a young pup, Pugsley will need continued training, patience, and consistency to help him grow into the amazing adult dog he’s destined to be. With love and guidance, he’ll be the kind of loyal sidekick who brings all the charm, fun, and just a hint of mischief — the perfect balance for a forever family. Pugsley is ready to leave the shadows of his past behind and step into a future filled with love, stability, and adventure. He was born in May 2025 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:
