Caspen along with his sister where found on a rural road in South Texas dodging cars. They were most likely dumped and left to defend themselves
Caspen is a fun loving boy! He's so sweet and eager to please. He has good recall and overall great manners making him able to adopt to most homes easily. Caspen would benefit from an active lifestyle in Colorado including some hiking, running and playing with other dogs. He is also good with cats. He would do best with older children as he does like to jump a bit but he really just needs some consistency, structure and a place to call home. Could you give Caspen the loving homr he deserves? If so please reach out to us.
Caspen is currently living in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting an adopter or open foster home in Colorado to bring him up and into their home for the holidays.
Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet
Approve Application
If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application
Take the Pet Home
After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home
