HAWKEYE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Hawkeye Best Guess for Breed: Great Dane mix
Best Guess for Age: 2.5 years as of November 2025 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 134 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!
Hawkeye is Looking For: His forever home! With humans who are eager to take him on all those sniffy walks and adventures they can dream up - he wants to see the world! And definitely with extra soft surfaces for him to lay upon - he arrived in the shelter with elbow seromas, likely from laying on hard surfaces. They usually go away once the dog gets soft beds - so break out those XXXL beds!
He's a big, strong boy who needs someone who can walk him confidently and wants someone who understands that deep down in every Great Dane is a widdle lap dog. Lots of snuggles, please. In exchange he promises all the love and loyal companionship in his XXL body.
