My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bryan is a 1-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 22 lbs and has a very endearing habit of asking for hugs. Every now and then, whether he’s on a walk or just hanging out at home, he’ll walk over, rest his front paws on your legs, and lean in for a quiet cuddle. It’s a small thing, but it shows how much trust and warmth he has.

He’s friendly with people and does a cute, very Bryan-specific move where he stands on his back legs when he knows a treat is coming. He’s a sweet, easygoing little guy with a gentle personality and a few charming quirks that make him really special.

Approved adopters interested in Bryan can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you’re not approved yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com.

More about this rescue

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
