My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a quiet, sweet girl who is looking for a comfy place to land during her golden years. She adores her human friends and can often be found sitting right beside anyone willing to offer her some well-deserved pets! She also enjoys going on nice leisurely walks.

As a senior lady, Lucy would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with no other animals where she can feel safe and relaxed.

Lucy is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and has even recently had a dental completed! If you’re looking for a peaceful, loyal companion to share quiet days with, Lucy may be the perfect match!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
