Bennett: Sweet-Hearted Explorer Seeking Adventure Say hello to Bennett, a charming 3-year-old, 55 lbs Black Mouth Cur mix! Since arriving as a stray on October 23rd, 2025, Bennett has won the hearts of our staff with his gentle nature and happy demeanor.
Happy and Adaptable: He came into his assessment with a tail-wagging enthusiasm and was interested in exploring and sniffing out his new environment. Once he's explored, he's happy to come over for a little love!
Perfect Manners: He stood nicely for all handling and body tests-a very sweet boy who is easygoing and loves attention. He takes treats gently right from your hand and shows no issues with resource guarding in his food bowl.
Loves to Play: Bennett is a fan of toys and enjoys a good game of fetch.
Needs Patience with Dogs: While he loves other dogs, his greeting style is very enthusiastic-think full-speed, tail-wagging, and lots of jumping! He requires patient, structured introductions. He would do best with owners committed to consistent training to help him learn calm greetings, or a canine sibling that can handle his strong, rowdy play style.
Could Bennett be your loyal new best friend? Come meet this sweet, happy dog today!
