What we know: Transferred from Espanola Humane in Espanola, NM, litter of 2, approximately 3 months old, one male one female, fixed, rabies done.
From the foster: Meet Venus! Venus is full of fun energy and playfulness. He gets along great with his foster brother as well as his litter sister and is really good with kids. Venus is doing a great job with potty training and currently has frequent use of outdoor space to practice. He goes right into his crate at night and is a quick learner. He enjoys playing with other pups and settles down for a nap after playtime. He truly is such a sweet boy and will no doubt be a wonderful companion.
Update: 858 is the whole package! He is sweet and mild-mannered, while still being a playful pup. He loves our resident dogs and is learning so much from watching them! He loves our kids and has had some positive interactions with our seasoned feline overlord. He is nearly fully potty trained, loves his crate and is just an all around sweet guy. Added bonus - his ears are spectacular!

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
