Meet Scooby-Doo!
Scooby-Doo is a 10-month-old, playful spirit, and a big heart.
Heâ€™s great with other dogs and even gets along with cats who are used to canine companions. Scooby-Doo loves everyone he meetsâ€”kids, adults, and anyone ready to be his friend.

This goofy, affectionate pup will keep you smiling with his silly antics and sweet personality. Scooby-Doo would be happiest with a family who has a yard where he can run, play, and burn off his puppy energy. Heâ€™s ready to bring endless love, laughter, and fun to his forever home!

If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. Be prepared to adopt and to bring a home a new family member. We cannot place puppies/dogs on hold to come pick up for another day.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Select an animal to meet with and fill out the Adoption Form online.

2.
Meet the Pet

Schedule an appointment to come to the shelter and meet the pet.

3.
Take the Pet Home

If everything goes well during the meet-n-greet process you will be able to take home your new pet the same day or arrange a 24hr hold.

Additional adoption info

We ask that you view our adoptable animals and then submit an online application prior to coming in.
Once your application is submitted, feel free to stop by anytime during our normal operating hours.
We do request that if you plan to adopt that you bring a copy of your driver’s license or other government issued ID and vaccination records for your current pets. If you rent, please bring a copy of your lease and the pet policy. We may need additional information but one of our adoption assistants will let you know.

We ask that you view our adoptable animals and then submit an online application prior to coming in. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm for adoptions. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays.
