Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Dillon and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 3 year 9 month old, male, Shepherd who came to SB Humane in search of a loving home.
While I didn't have the best start to life, I am ready to find someone who truly appreciates me for who I am. My world started off pretty small, I was kept in a back yard for the first 3 years of my life. Even through all of this, I remained hopeful. Hopeful for a life of kindness and belly rubs, a life of runs with my favorite person and treats, endless treats. My friends at SBH have helped me gain my confidence and have shown me that people aren't so bad. I love to cuddle and prefer to spend my time with my favorite people. I am great in the office and would be happy to lay at your feet after a nice run outside. Although I have gained confidence, that past experience left me with some fears that I am still working on. I can be wary of some men, but with a gentle approach, I will become your instant best friend. I love to play with other dogs and have a couple of besties on campus that I play with every day! I am smart, active and full of energy and would love to go hiking, running, or play fetch! I practice agility with my friends at SBH and would be a great sport dog if you are interested in training!
Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.
When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Hills will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
