My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a 10-month-old male Husky/Shepherd mix who will be neutered before adoption.  He was found as a stray out in the county and brought in by county animal control.  No owner came to reclaim him.  Handsome Jake has a brown coat with white markings; and he has quite a bit of black highlights spread throughout his coat.  He weighs 34 pounds; and is considered to be a medium size dog.  Jake is good with children and other dogs.  He is playful, fun loving, and a bit adventurous as he gets to know our staff and the other dogs at PAHS.  Everyone loves Jake!

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
