Meet Surprise (better known as 'Beau')
Beau is a 4-month-old, 20-pound mystery mix that came to our rescue with his twin, Daydream (aka Spot). Google Lens has guessed everything from Lab to Dogo Argentino, but we think both boys are simply super mutts who won the genetic lottery. Beau is on track to grow into a large, handsome dog, and his striking one-blue, one-brown eye combo only adds to his charm.
Beau is your classic happy puppy. He's curious, loves snuggles, enjoys playing with other dogs. He is catching on quickly to potty training, already walks nicely on a leash and is learning his crate routine. True to puppy form, he has plenty of curiosity and a little more precocious energy than his brother. While Spot aims to please, Beau is sometimes more interested in finding fun and getting into harmless trouble, but he is still incredibly sweet.
He enjoys chasing cats (in a playful way) and is learning the hard way when to give them space. With guidance and consistency he will thrive in a home with other pets and people who appreciate a smart, energetic pup.
His foster home is an active family with other dogs, cats, children and a mix of adults so he is very well socialized.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed or neutered, be up to date on vaccines per your veterinarian’s recommendations and be current on heartworm tests and prevention for dogs. We will verify these records. If your pet has a medical issue that makes any of this difficult, please note it on your application and we will verify with your veterinarian.
