My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Angel (4leggedlayover@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Meet Daydream --but we like to call him “Spot” :-)

He is a 4-month-old, 20-pound mystery mix. Google Lens has guessed everything from Lab to the rarely seen Dogo Argentino. We think he’s simply a super mutt who’s super cute. He is also on track to grow into a large, handsome boy, just like his sibling, Surprise. Apparently good looks run in the family.

Spot is the definition of a “best boy.” His temperament is easy, sweet, and eager to please. He loves to cuddle, follows his people everywhere, and will grow into the kind of dog who happily joins you on car rides, trail walks, or even a relaxing day on the boat. His main goal in life is simple: stay close to his person.

He is already leash trained, doing very well with potty training, and making steady progress with crate training. He enjoys the company of other dogs, has plenty of puppy energy, and is learning that cats are interesting but deserve a little respect.

His foster home is an active family with other dogs, cats, kids, and a mix of humans, so he is very well socialized.

If you are looking for a loyal adventure buddy who will grow into a big, loving companion, Spot might be the perfect fit.

More about this rescue

Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.
