My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Lilo, a young terrier born approximately 3/8/25. I am such a happy pup and would bring so much joy into your home!  I love everything - adults, kids, other dogs of any size or shape, toys, bones, and most importantly FOOD! My mom thinks I am super smart because I was potty-trained in a week! Because I am so food-motivated, I learned to "sit" in just a few minutes. I know I will learn other tricks quickly, too. I love going on walks with the big dogs but I am still working on my leash manners. I spend time in my crate when my family is gone and I have no problem with the downtime. I love to snuggle up in a doggy bed and rest up for when the kids get home from school to play with me. My mom says I am "perfect" at night in my crate in the living room. I do not make a peep. I actually do not make much noise most of the time. I do bark when the big dogs in my house bark, but how could I not? I get a little nervous in the car if I am not in a crate but when I am in a crate, I just snooze peacefully. I went to the cabin with my foster family and spent 5 hours in the car and did great! I am so happy and excited that sometimes I forget to use my manners and will jump when I see you but my family is helping me understand what is appropriate and not appropriate behavior for a dog of my size. I don't care how big I get though - I will always want to cuddle on a lap. If you think we could be best friends, submit an application so we can meet.
