My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Lola!

I’m a sweet, gentle girl who knows all my basics — I can sit and lay down like a pro. I’m also kennel trained, potty trained, and house trained, so I fit in nicely with a family routine. I sleep in my kennel at night and stay in it quietly during the day when everyone is at work or school. I might let out a little whine now and then, but it never lasts long. Most of the time, I’m perfectly content to nap, relax, or just keep to myself.

I really like other dogs, but I do need to be fed separately — food is my one thing I prefer not to share. Once mealtime is over, though, I’m all about playing, cuddling, and being part of the pack. When I meet new dogs or new people, I can be a bit timid at first, but give me a little time and I’ll warm right up. Once I feel safe, I’m affectionate, snuggly, and ready to play with anyone who wants to be my friend.

I’ve met cats, too, and I mostly just want to play with them. I’ve also been great with kids, at least as young as 12 that we know of. As long as kids understand that I need my space when I’m eating and don’t try to share my food, we should get along just fine.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just wants a safe place, a little patience, and a family to adore… I think we might be a perfect match.
