Bruno is a soft-hearted boy who’s finding shelter life a little overwhelming — and who could blame him? While the noise and bustle can make him anxious at times, volunteers have seen something really special beneath the nerves: a sweet, gentle dog who seeks comfort and connection with his people.
On walks, Bruno is easy to handle and does his best, even when he’s feeling unsure. He’s also very treat-motivated, which helps him build confidence and makes him a great candidate for positive, reward-based training. One especially touching moment came when the shelter grew loud — instead of shutting down, Bruno chose to approach and settle himself between two people, quietly asking for reassurance. It’s clear that once he feels safe, Bruno wants to trust.
