Meet Lilly! She is a sweet and goofy puppy who is ready to steal your heart (and your socks)! It may take her a little while to warm up to you, but once she gets to know you, she won’t want to leave your side.
Lilly would do best in a home with other friendly dogs. Her ideal family is active or has a backyard that she can run around in. While she loves to cuddle up for a nap, she still has puppy energy and wouldn’t do well pent up in an apartment without plenty of walks. She is crate trained (although she may whine a little), nearly housebroken, and very treat motivated.
Lilly has already come leaps and bounds since we began fostering her. When we picked her up from AAC, she was shut down and wouldn’t leave the spot by the front door for two days. Now, she cuddles with us, plays tug-of-war with her foster sisters, greets our guests without barking, and has made friends with many of the dogs in our neighborhood. We are sure that this is just the beginning and that she will continue to blossom into a great companion.
