Alfred is a smart, active, and incredibly sweet boy who's eager to learn and loves having a job to do. He's fully housetrained, knows several words (especially "treat" and "food"), and will do just about anything for a piece of cheese. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he's loyal, affectionate, and very devoted. Alfred is social with other dogs, does well with cats, and enjoys playing fetch, zooming around the yard, and keeping watch from his favorite window. Athletic and graceful, Alfred runs like a gazelle but is just as happy soaking up ear scratches and butt rubs. With his brains, heart, and personality, he's ready to be a wonderful companion for the right family. 🐾
