My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Long-Haired Dachshund mix
Male, 10 years old (estimated), 18 pounds

Jorge may have spent some time as a stray, but thanks to the kind animal control officer who rescued him (and gave him his distinguished name), he's ready to begin his next chapter in a new home!

This sweet boy is an absolute joy to have around. Every time you walk into the room, Jorge greets you with the kind of enthusiastic tail wags that could power a small city. He radiates happiness, warmth, and love, and his cheerful spirit is truly contagious. Jorge is a fantastic companion, always eager to be by your side, whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for a stroll. He's a great walker and enjoys exploring the world with you. He also gets along beautifully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have canine friends in his new home.

Jorge joined us from Front Street Sacramento City Animal Services after he was picked up as a stray. Due to their overcrowded shelter and his senior status, they felt he would do best in rescue to find his forever people.
