TOBY is this a very loving boy's name. He is 3 and a 1/2 years old, and fully vetted and ready to find his own forever family. Toby is a very fun-loving fella, he loves to play and have fun and is known to sneak like give kisses, lol. He is a fan of fun toys or hey if a fun stick will entertain him :). He gets along good with all other dogs, with a proper greeting of course. But has not been tested with kitties. He is crate trained but may need a refresher on all his house manners is all. He was rescued out of a park along with his sister and four others and has been waiting awhile to finally have a rescue to help him achieve this. He is ready to finally have his own people to love and go thru life with. He would love to have a big yard to run and play in. He is just an all-around good boy. Toby is a collie/lab mix and is around 70- 80 lbs. black with a little while on him. When he first meets people, he tends to be a little cautious, not by attacking or anything, but he does a little bark to let know you he sees you. He walks well on a leash or a harness. He does know a few commands but is definitely willing to learn more if a tasty treat is involved. :) Toby would love a loving home with someone that has more time for him. And perhaps another friendly dog he can run and play with, it would make all his dreams come true. If interested an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org

Additional adoption info

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
